Church Construction (Villa 14), Chipiriri Parish

Villa 14, a small community within the Chipiriri parish bounds, is a highly active and responsive community that is eager to grow spiritually and socially. The villa has lacked a consistent pastoral presence, as its chapel remains under construction. It is a project fueled by the local peoples love for God. Unfortunately, some debt has been accumulated. It may take two to three years to complete the chapel. While the local community is supportive in raising funds, most are rural farmers living hand-to-mouth. What they lack in material resources, says Father Charles Ogony, M.M., they more than make up for in dedication and hospitality.
